Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between jj Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spider Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva pushes Mac up against the cage in a clinch.
Mac looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Silva is pushing Mac up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mac throws a punch but it's blocked by Silva.

Mac is trying to pull guard but Silva turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Spider Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Mac gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
