Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jett Jaggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonid Shcholkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shcholkin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: King Ring. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaggers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Shcholkin looks to land a left hand but Jaggers moved out of range nicely.
Jaggers moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jaggers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shcholkin.
Shcholkin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shcholkin cracks Jaggers with an open hand slap.
Shcholkin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jaggers manages to avoid it.
Shcholkin throws a right hand that misses
and Jaggers counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shcholkin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jaggers smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jaggers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shcholkin throws a nice looking combination but Jaggers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shcholkin misses with a hook to the body

and Jaggers counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jaggers content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Shcholkin tries to escape back to his feet but Jaggers has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Shcholkin's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Shcholkin is tapping! Jaggers saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
