Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Indestructible. Hart comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bret Hart's Theme Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart swings for the body but Black moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Hart. That snapped Black's head back.
Hart connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Black's hands.
Hart takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Black takes a swing at Hart's ribcage but misses.
Black jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Black thuds a left hand into Hart's body.
Hart throws a hook but Black blocks it.

and Hart decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Black's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hart throws an elbow that misses. Black uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hart's guard. Nice move by Black!
Hart tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Black wants to get up but he can't break Hart's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hart is pulling down on Black's head. It's preventing any offense from Black, at least for the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Matt Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are battling for position here. Black manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Black will probably get the nod.
