Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corey Otool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otool's entrance music is What it's like by Everlast. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otool defending well as Helix loads up on a big left hand.

Helix throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Otool on the side of the head.
Otool uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Helix.
Otool avoids a kick to the body.
Helix lands with a kick to the temple. Otool shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Helix stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Helix wants it to stay on the feet.
Otool has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Helix lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Otool. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
