PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Tinsdell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tinsdell's choice of entrance music: "Left Behind" by Slipknot. On his way into the cage it seems that Samuel Washington has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Samuel Washington seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tinsdell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Washington.
Washington lands with a hook. Tinsdell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Washington misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Tinsdell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Washington's waist but Washington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tinsdell off to one side.

Washington is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Samuel Washington wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Tinsdell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Washington tries to avoid it but Tinsdell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Washington to the ground. Washington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Washington for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Washington lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tinsdell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tinsdell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
