Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neo Angin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Larsen!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Angin.
Angin connects with a looping right hand.
Angin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Angin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Larsen's half guard.
Angin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Neo Angin.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Angin!
Angin tries a head kick but it misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Angin content to control rather than advance.
Angin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Larsen keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Neo Angin.

Larsen gets tackled into the cage by Angin. Angin maintains the clinch.

Angin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Larsen uses from the top position.
Larsen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Neo Angin just wasn't active enough.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Angin has Larsen up against the cage in a clinch.
Angin connects with a nasty looking knee right to Larsen's face.

Angin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Larsen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Angin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Larsen is in Angin's guard.

Angin uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Angin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Angin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Larsen wants to control from the top but Angin keeps moving.

Angin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Larsen to the mat! Larsen manages to get full guard.
Angin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Angin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Angin lands in his opponent's guard.
Angin is stalling in the full guard.
Neo Angin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Angin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Angin drives through and clinches with Larsen against the cage.

Angin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Angin has a takedown stuffed.
Angin stuffs the takedown attempt from Larsen. Larsen gets slowly back to his feet.
Larsen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Larsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Angin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Larsen somewhat.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Angin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Larsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Angin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Angin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Larsen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Angin blocks a body shot from Larsen.
Larsen landing knees to the body.
Larsen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Angin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Angin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Angin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Larsen's head.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Angin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Angin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Angin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Angin shoots in looking for a takedown but Larsen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Angin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Angin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Neo Angin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Angin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neo Angin showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Angin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Neo Angin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
