Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Benji Danilison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirkai Sakuba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuba has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - All These Things I Hate as his entrance music. Mirkai Sakuba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mirkai Sakuba!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuba takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No joy there for Danilison, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sakuba has a takedown stuffed.
Sakuba misses with a takedown attempt

and Danilison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sakuba tries to pull guard but Danilison won't allow it.
Benji Danilison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirkai Sakuba.
Sakuba tries for a takedown but Danilison manages to get underhooks.
Sakuba tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sakuba putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Danilison in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Danilison turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sakuba takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A lull in the action here as Danilison stalls from top position.

Danilison looks up at the clock and then as Sakuba takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Danilison smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sakuba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Danilison has an Americana. Sakuba didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Danilison is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Danilison hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
