Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Tocchet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Sonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonny lands with a nice combination. Tocchet backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Rick Tocchet has been cut.
Sonny scores with a decent looking hook.
Sonny throws a shot from downtown. Tocchet moves away and avoids it.
Tocchet slips a straight right by Sonny.
A big left from Tocchet misses.
Tocchet moves forwards but Sonny connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sonny uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tocchet.
No joy there for Sonny, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tocchet drops his hands momentarily and Sonny takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tocchet thuds a left hand into Sonny's body.
Sonny throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tocchet sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tocchet jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sonny fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tocchet gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Tocchet is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sonny lands with a good body shot.
Tocchet is breathing heavily.
Sonny steps in with a hook that catches Tocchet right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sonny follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Tocchet looks absolutely devastated.
