Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Ronald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Can't Tell Me Nothing. Ronald has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ronald defends it nicely.

Ronald moves into the clinch.

Freeman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ronald can't fight it off and eventually Freeman manages to take the fight to the floor. Ronald looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ronald is breathing heavily.
Ronald not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Freeman is working Ronald over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Freeman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ronald takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Freeman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ronald to see if he's OK.
Freeman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ronald keeps working.
Freeman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ronald kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Freeman tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Freeman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ronald is not content to let Freeman control the position.
Freeman cracks Ronald with a big right hand but Ronald just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Freeman wants to control but Ronald is keeping him busy.

Ronald is rocked!
Ronald takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Oh Ronald is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freeman lands a strong strike to the head of Ronald. That's dazed him! Freeman looking to finish here. Ronald is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Freeman lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Huey Freeman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
