Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Garrido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Fuckin' In The Bushes. On his way into the cage it seems that Abel Khan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Abel Khan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abel Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Garrido!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries to work over Garrido's front leg with a kick but Garrido checks it.
Garrido jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Khan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Garrido looks to throw the jab but Khan is out of range.
Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Garrido, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garrido thows a body shot but no joy.
Garrido throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.
Garrido shoots in for a double leg but Khan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Garrido scores with a takedown into Khan's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Khan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Garrido!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Garrido is desperately trying to improve his position but Khan has a good base and remains in mount.
Khan tries to control but Garrido wriggling away.
Garrido gets back to half guard.
Khan decides to stand and escape the position.
Khan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Garrido.
Khan looks to land a left hand but Garrido moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Garrido misses with an uppercut
and Khan counters with a nice leg kick.
Garrido misses with a lunging right hand
and Khan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan lunges at Garrido with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Garrido's hand.
Khan cracks Garrido with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Khan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garrido doesn't seem phased though.
Garrido misses with a series of wild punches.
Khan lands with an overhand left.
Garrido is rocked!
It looks like Javier Garrido has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan flashes Garrido a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Garrido's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Garrido crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Khan punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abel Khan!
Abel Khan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
