The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deal moves in looking to clinch but Neehow pushes him off.
Neehow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Neehow closes the distance and clinches up with Deal, looking for a takedown. Neehow pushes Deal against the cage but Deal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Deal tries to clinch but Neehow is having none of it.
A head kick misses from Deal.
Deal fails in his attempt to clinch.
Deal moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Deal scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Neehow takes a swing at Deal's ribcage but misses.

Neehow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neehow stands and steps away. Deal gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Neehow gets caught flat footed, as Deal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Deal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Deal working some strikes from top position.
Deal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Neehow can do anything to dispel that myth.
