Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Balls Deep!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensin tries a head kick but it misses.

Deep scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Deep looking to secure an arm triangle but Bensin defends it well.

Deep jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bensin manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Deep tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bensin tries to buck Deep off but Deep is having none of it.

Deep tries for a kimura but Bensin is defending well.

Deep tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Deep has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bensin regains half guard.
Bensin is trying to control but can't.

Bensin is defending against the submission attempts here by Deep.
Bensin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deep on the ground.
Bensin moves into full guard.
Bensin wants to sweep but no luck.
Bensin is working hard here to advance position.

Deep thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Deep postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bensin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Deep, into his guard.
Deep has a closed guard, preventing Bensin from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Deep has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bensin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Deep.
Deep is looking to regain half guard here but Bensin keeps moving and retains side control.
Check out the look on Bensin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bensin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Deep keeps working.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Deep gets back to half guard.
Bensin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bensin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Bensin winds up and cracks Deep with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bensin seems to be working for a kimura but Deep defends the submission attempt.

Bensin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Deep looks gassed!

Deep is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bensin pulls his head out easily.

Bensin gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Nice straight punches there by Bensin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bensin.
Deep should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bensin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bensin sends Deep down but not out. Bensin dives into side control looking to finish.


Deep is rocked!

Bensin has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Deep is still on wobbly legs! Can Bensin finish him?
Deep tries to close the distance and clinch but Bensin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deep is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Bensin doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Deep crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Deep's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alvin Bensin!
An intense looking Alvin Bensin took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I want to make a shout out to the guys at MMA Animal! Great guys with good gear! Check them out'.
