Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glin Burman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Amongero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glin Burman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glin Burman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roberto Amongero!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amongero lands a jab to the nose.
Burman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Burman looks to land a combination but Amongero avoids it well.
Burman dodges the punch combination from Amongero.
Amongero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burman was well out of range. Poor timing from Amongero.
Amongero jabs Burman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Burman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Amongero misses.
Burman throws a wild body kick that Amongero sees coming a mile off.
Burman throws a series of punches but Amongero avoids them all with ease.
Amongero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Amongero steps into range and cracks Burman with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Burman flops backwards and Amongero dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Glin Burman has been cut.
Amongero trying to control but Burman is working from the bottom.
Amongero controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Amongero is controlling him.
Burman controls Amongero momentarily but Amongero frees himself.
Amongero is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Amongero postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Amongero drops back looking for a leg! Burman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burman manages to kick Amongero off! Amongero jumps back into Burman's guard.
Amongero is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Amongero controlling from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Amongero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Amongero postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Amongero gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Burman is breathing heavily.
Amongero tests Burman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Amongero plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Burman to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Burman just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Roberto Amongero!
After the fight, Roberto Amongero was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
