Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Screw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederich Frankenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Screw comes to the cage accompanied by Harmonium. Frederich Frankenstein has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nathan Screw's chin.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frederich Frankenstein!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Screw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Frankenstein closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Screw quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Screw has one foot on Frankenstein's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Frankenstein shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Frankenstein shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Screw as he jumps to the side.

Screw throws a right and a left that Frankenstein avoids nicely.
Screw looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Screw misses with a two punch combination.
Screw takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Frankenstein throws a series of punches but Screw moves out of range.

Frankenstein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Screw does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Screw is squirming around, avoiding Frankenstein's attempts to control the action.
Screw on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Screw tries to get out of the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Frederich Frankenstein is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
