The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sedo slips a jab and a cross from Solodov.

Sedo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sedo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
You can see the frustration on Solodov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Solodov tries to bench press Sedo off him but Sedo keeps the position.
Solodov controls the position for a moment.
Solodov avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sedo.

Solodov manages to get back to half guard.

Solodov looking for a triangle here. Sedo is fighting it but it looks tight! Solodov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sedo is tapping out - this one is all over!

A very excited looking Ivan Solodov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
