Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Man D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Speed comes to the cage accompanied by Trivium / Shogun. D has chosen The Prodigy - Firestarter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man D has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Man D!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Speed is defended easily by D.
D throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Speed.
Speed closes this distance looking for a takedown but D circles away.
Speed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Speed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Speed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Speed shoots in for a takedown but D shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Speed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Speed fails with the takedown.
Speed tries for a takedown but D circles away easily
and D connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Cameron Speed has been cut.
Speed is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

D drops Speed with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Speed looks back up at him and smiles so D waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Speed is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Speed with a poor takedown
and D counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oh Speed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
D lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Speed up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs D from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Speed's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
