The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silvain's calf.
Liddell avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Good leg kick by Silvain there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Liddell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Tiago Silvain has been cut.
Liddell shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Liddell blocks a head kick by Silvain.
Liddell keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Liddell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silvain.

and Silvain makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Silvain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Silvain tries to score with a low kick but Liddell moves his leg out of the way.
Liddell throws a solid leg kick but Silvain takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Liddell.

The fighters circling - Liddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Liddell tries a low kick but Silvain avoids it.

Liddell throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silvain throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Silvain throws a looping overhand right but Liddell ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Block Liddell will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
An inside leg kick lands from Silvain.
Silvain moves out of range as Liddell throws a body kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Silvain! Liddell is out on his feet! Silvain rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Liddell is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Liddell is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
