The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canadian Kid connects with a high kick.
Santana throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Santana walks forward, straight into a front kick from Canadian Kid.

Santana connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Santana throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A jab from Canadian Kid does it's job there.
A left and a right from Santana both land. Nice combination.
Canadian Kid connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Santana's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Canadian Kid fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Santana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Santana throws a shot from downtown. Canadian Kid moves away and avoids it.
Santana checks a leg kick nicely.
A combination from Santana does no damage.

Canadian Kid missing with a left hand there. Santana was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Santana takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Santana throws a chopping leg kick but Canadian Kid manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Santana tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Canadian Kid takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jason Canadian Kid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Santana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
