Mei's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Lonely Shepherd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Styles is defended easily by Mei.
Mei moves in looking to clinch but Styles pushes him off.
Mei scores with a spinning back kick!
Mei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Styles swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Styles drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Styles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mei is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Styles pulls his head out easily.
Styles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
