The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borowiec clinches up with Bona and pushes him back against the cage.
Bona takes an elbow to the temple.
Borowiec creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bona's defenses.
Borowiec lands a damaging elbow.
Borowiec tries a knee to the head but Bona blocks it.
Bona tries to score a body lock takedown but Borowiec shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bona drops down looking for an ankle pick but Borowiec pulls his leg out and moves away.

Borowiec rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bona moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Borowiec connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bona momentarily.

Bona shoots in for a takedown but Borowiec shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
