Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouse fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Thompson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thompson takes the fight into the clinch.
Mouse wants a takedown.
Mouse drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thompson pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wood Mouse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mouse shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mouse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mouse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thompson as he jumps to the side.
Mouse shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thompson counters with a straight right hand.
Thompson digs a good hook to Mouse's body.
Thompson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mouse. Mouse circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mouse is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Mouse crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
