Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Jaxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santana comes to the cage accompanied by Duke NukemTheme. Jaxon has chosen X Goin' Give iIt To Ya-DMX as his entrance music. Tyrone Jaxon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jaxon.
Santana blocks a jab.
Santana throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Santana motions for Jaxon to come forward. Santana throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jaxon tries a head kick but it misses.
Jaxon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jaxon throws a body kick that misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jaxon is defended easily by Santana.

Santana clinches up against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Santana.
Santana misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jaxon tries to land knees in the clinch but Santana avoids the damage to the body.
Jaxon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jaxon is looking to break free of the clinch but Santana has double underhooks.
Jaxon throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Jaxon lands a body shot in the clinch.

Santana gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jaxon.
Santana misses with a body punch.
Santana tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jaxon's elbow.
Santana tries to throw a body punch but Jaxon avoids it by throwing Santana back against the cage.
Jaxon can't get the takedown.
Douglas Santana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Jaxon.

Jaxon is trying to break free.
Santana lands with a right to the head.
Santana misses with a punch to the body.
Jaxon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santana is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jaxon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Santana avoids it.

Jaxon wants the takedown. Santana is fighting it off but Jaxon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Santana's guard against the cage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Santana tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Santana not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Santana wants to stand but Jaxon is controlling the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Santana has his foot on Jaxon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jaxon works his way back into a safe position though.
Santana manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jaxon is squirming around, avoiding Santana's attempts to control the action.
Santana wants to control the action but instead Jaxon gets a body lock and reverses into Santana's guard! Nice work!
Santana will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jaxon trying to control the position from guard on top but Santana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jaxon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Santana has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jaxon is looking to defend but Santana has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jaxon! Santana pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jaxon taps out and this one is all over!
