Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean ORiordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punchy McPunches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from ORiordan misses.
McPunches looks to score with a jab to the body but ORiordan is just out of range.

ORiordan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McPunches was covering up waiting for the punch and ORiordan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
McPunches throws a series of punches but ORiordan avoids them all with ease.

ORiordan lands a big shot there that rocks McPunches but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
ORiordan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McPunches can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
ORiordan lands a nice shot to the head.
ORiordan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McPunches avoids a series of strikes thrown by ORiordan.

A momentary lapse in concentration from McPunches enables ORiordan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McPunches manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
McPunches lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for ORiordan!
McPunches lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
