Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Sproles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paavo Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sproles's entrance music is can't be touched -Roy Jones Jr. A fine choice. Pete Sproles could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paavo Smith's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sproles throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith moves out of range as Sproles strikes.
Sproles misses the jab.
Sproles shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Sproles to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Paavo Smith has been cut.
Sproles fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sproles on the side of the head.
Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sproles's half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Pete Sproles will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sloppy strikes from Sproles. Those never looked like landing.
Sproles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.

Pete Sproles decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
