Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Vonstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vonstein has chosen Seether - Remedy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Drake Vonstein is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Vonstein!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vonstein slips a jab and a cross from Fitzgibbon.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fitzgibbon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vonstein manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fitzgibbon's guard. Nice work there by Vonstein.

You can see the frustration on Fitzgibbon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon.
I think Fitzgibbon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
