The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Alves.
Alves throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alves.
Alves lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Alves dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Agalactaciae. That did some damage!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Agalactaciae pinned against the cage. Agalactaciae gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Agalactaciae will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Agalactaciae throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alves was covering up waiting for the punch and Agalactaciae finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Alves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Agalactaciae defends it easily.

Alves has his foot on Agalactaciae's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Agalactaciae works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Alves is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Agalactaciae knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground.

Alves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Agalactaciae doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Agalactaciae manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alves looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Agalactaciae has picked Alves up and slammed him! Alves can't keep hold of the triangle and Agalactaciae manages to pass to side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Agalactaciae swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Strep Agalactaciae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alves.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Alves. Agalactaciae shrugs it off though.
Agalactaciae shoots for a double leg takedown but Alves sprawls well. He's pushed Agalactaciae's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alves fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Agalactaciae.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Alves.

Agalactaciae is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
