The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dantes tries to keep at a distance but Presley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Presley creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dantes's defenses.

It looks like Edmond Dantes has been cut.
Presley keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dantes's efforts to push away.
Dantes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Presley lands an elbow that stopped Dantes in his tracks for a moment.
Presley misses with a knee strike.

Dantes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Presley is looking to clinch but Dantes is avoiding it.
A telegraphed right hand from Dantes misses the target.
Dantes misses with an attempted mid kick.
Presley avoids the body shot from Dantes.
Dantes scores with a jab.
Presley is looking to clinch but Dantes is avoiding it.
Dantes keeps Presley at a distance using the push kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Presley closes the distance and clinches.
Presley lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dantes backwards.

Dantes manages to break the clinch.
Dantes throws a leg kick which misses Presley's front leg but catches the back leg as Presley tries to avoid it.
Dantes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Presley is breathing heavily.
Dantes slips a jab and a cross from Presley.
Elvis Presley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dantes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dantes explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Dantes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Presley walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dantes scores with a spinning back kick!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dantes! Presley is out on his feet! Dantes rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Presley is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Presley is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edmond Dantes!
In his post fight interview, Edmond Dantes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
