Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Dvanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Mountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mountain has chosen kuningas as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dvanov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mountain to score with a decent uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mountain is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dvanov defends it well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mountain wants to control from the top but Dvanov keeps moving.

Mountain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dvanov sees it coming and defends easily.
Mountain is controlling the pace.
Mountain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dvanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dvanov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dvanov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mountain is working away from the top position though.

Mountain feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dvanovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mountain comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dvanov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
