The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linekar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Linekar shoots in and gets a takedown into Steel's guard.
Linekar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Linekar prevents Steel from getting back to his feet.

Steel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Linekar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Steel wants to sweep but no luck.

Linekar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Linekar shoots in and gets a takedown into Steel's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
