Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ringo Dingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Kagawa!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kagawa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kagawa tries for a takedown but Dingo circles away easily

and Dingo counters with a shoot takedown. Kagawa fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dingo is working Kagawa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dingo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kagawa on the ground.

Dingo stands up and waves to Kagawa to follow him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dingo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kagawa sprawls well initially but Dingo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dingo is keen to just control but Kagawa is a slippery customer.

Dingo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kagawa tries to roll over but Dingo keeps him under control.
Dingo is trying to control the action in half guard but Kagawa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kagawa is looking for a triangle here but Dingo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Dingo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dingo tries for a kimura but Kagawa is defending well.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kagawa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dingo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dingo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kagawa!
Kagawa tries to hold on but Dingo pushes him away.
Dingo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kagawa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kagawa wants to control but Dingo is having none of it.
Kagawa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ringo Dingo dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Dingo.
You can see the frustration on Kagawa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dingo is looking to take a break and control but Kagawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dingo gets to his feet - Kagawa follows without any prompting.

Dingo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dingo has Kagawa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dingo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kagawa tumbling to the mat - Dingo dives into Kagawa's guard.
Dingo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kagawa holds on and takes a little breather.
Dingo wants to control from the top but Kagawa keeps moving.
Kagawa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kagawa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ringo Dingo dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Dingo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kagawa, pushing him back against the cage.

Kagawa is working for a kimura here but Dingo manages to reverse the position and he's now in Kagawa's guard.

Kagawa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dingo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dingo's back!

Kagawa is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Dingo has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
