Williams comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain. White has chosen yes as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr White!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a left hand
and White counters with an outside leg kick.
White bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
White clobbers Williams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
White avoids the head kick by Williams.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
White lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
White wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.

Williams misses with a hook.
Williams looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
White bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Williams throws a jab but it's blocked by White.
White scores with a kick to the midsection.

Williams gets caught napping as White dives in and scores a takedown. Williams manages to retain guard.
White wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
White wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

White sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williams's guard.
White throws a strike but Williams avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams wants to control but White is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr White dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

White pushes Williams away with a front kick.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Williams checks a leg kick.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

An inside leg kick lands from White.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Williams thuds a left hand into White's body.
White shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
White throws a front kick that sends Williams stumbling back into the cage.
Williams shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for White on that attempt.
Paul Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr White.

A shot to the liver by Williams. Beautiful body shot.
Paul Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White lands a glancing blow to the side of Williams's head.
Williams misses with a two punch combination.
A solid leg kick lands there for White.
White throws a hook but Williams avoids it easily.
White changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Williams works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
White chips away with some ground and pound.
White is looking to work some ground and pound but Williams has wrist control.

White throws a big right hand that misses.
Williams keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mr White hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

White clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White misses with a low kick as Williams jumps back.
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams gets off balance looking for a body kick
and White counters with a body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A combination from White does no damage.

White slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet.

Mr White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. White catches Williams right on the button with a cross.
Williams will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

White scores with a hook.

White shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williams napping and manages to drive through into side control!

White throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Williams works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Williams wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. White connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.
Mr White has got the better of the ground game so far.
White works his way into side control.
White tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
White misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

White works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
White remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.

Mr White is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Mr White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
