Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorion Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobb Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nash has chosen Dry the River as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Sane misses.
Sane misses with a hook. Nash ducked under it nicely.
Nice shot lands for Nash.
Sane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nash.

Nash walks into a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sane stuns Nash with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sane misses with a hook.

Sane feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nash sprawling to the canvas! Nash rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sane finish him?!

It looks like Cobb Nash has been cut.
Sane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sane takes a swing at Nash's ribcage but misses.
Nash ducks under a wild hook from Sane.

and Nash cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sane looks to score with a jab to the body but Nash is just out of range.

Sane thows a body shot but no joy.
Sane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nash was well out of range. Poor timing from Sane.

A big left from Sane misses.
Sane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nash throws a quick inside leg kick.

Sane is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nash keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sane misses with a left hand
and Nash makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nash clobbers Sane with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nash stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Nash bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Sane! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Sane is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nash loads up on a big left hand. Sane felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nash looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Sane can't hide his disappointment, as Nash celebrates the victory.
