The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vraka shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Vraka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Luke Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vraka takes the fight into the clinch.
Vraka is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Taylor to keep the fight standing.

Vraka jumps guard and drags Taylor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Vraka strikes from his own guard.

Taylor scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Vraka looking to control but Taylor passes into half guard.
Taylor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Vraka is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard.
Taylor uses his free foot to push down on Vraka's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vraka.
Vraka is trying desperately to improve position.

Taylor swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
