Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bam comes to the cage accompanied by Military Soviet Hymn . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bam shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bam showed some decent athleticism there.

Bam is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mousasi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bam.
Bam is looking to take a break and control but Mousasi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bam is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mousasi defends it well.
Bam seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bam fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mousasi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mousasi's waist but Mousasi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bam off to one side.

Mousasi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bam sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mousasi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mousasi fails to land with a series of punches.

Bam moves in looking to clinch but Mousasi pushes him off.
Mousasi moves out of range as Bam strikes.
Mousasi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mousasi tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mousasi to the ground. Mousasi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bam drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bam is breathing heavily.

Bam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mousasi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bam drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mousasi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mousasi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mousasi!
Bam tries to bench press Mousasi off him but Mousasi keeps the position.

Mousasi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bam to his feet.
Bam fails to land the takedown.

Mamed Mousasi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mousasi scores with a jab. Bam acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Bam closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mousasi to the mat! Mousasi manages to get full guard.
Mousasi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bam!
Bam tries to lock up and control but Mousasi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bam is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bam slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Mousasi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bam is not content to let Mousasi control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mousasi as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Bam with that takedown attempt.
Mousasi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bam backs up against the cage.

Bam closes the distance and clinches up with Mousasi, looking for a takedown. Bam pushes Mousasi against the cage but Mousasi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
