Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Belfort has chosen Bate Pesadão as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manres shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manres showed some decent athleticism there.

Belfort really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Manres connects with a nice short shot to Belfort's temple.

Manres looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Manres has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
