Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ramires Santos Do Nascimento!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by DaCola or perhaps it was just good defense by Santos Do Nascimento which made him look bad.
DaCola shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Santos Do Nascimento defends it nicely.
Santos Do Nascimento rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but DaCola moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
DaCola uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Santos Do Nascimento.
Santos Do Nascimento leaves DaCola with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lola DaCola. That's going to take a lot out of him.
DaCola shoots in for a takedown but Santos Do Nascimento shows good takedown defense.

DaCola shoots in for a double leg but Santos Do Nascimento sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Santos Do Nascimento throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on DaCola's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Santos Do Nascimento dives in looking to finish as DaCola flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Santos Do Nascimento's strikes! Santos Do Nascimento is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! DaCola's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but DaCola was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
