Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kronik. Robin Convents has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off.

Adams seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Convents for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Robin Convents seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Convents wants to improve his position but instead Adams has moved into half guard.
Adams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Convents with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Adams decides to stand up.
Convents is looking to land body kicks.
Adams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Adams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Convents sprawls well initially but Adams persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Convents looks like he's trying to stand up.
Adams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Convents can do to turn this around?

Convents is breathing heavily.
Well, if Adams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Adams wants to control from the top but Convents keeps moving.

Convents wants to stand but Adams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
