Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier LeChimpanze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Szeth Vallano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szeth Vallano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

LeChimpanze fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vallano to the ground. LeChimpanze is now in Vallano's guard.

LeChimpanze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

LeChimpanze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and LeChimpanze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

LeChimpanze lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LeChimpanze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vallano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LeChimpanze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
LeChimpanze works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Vallano wants to control but LeChimpanze is keeping busy and won't allow it.
