And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho looks for a takedown but Pieropan sprawls well.
Carvalho fails with the takedown.
Carvalho ducks right into an uppercut from Pieropan.
It looks like Anderson Carvalho has been cut.
Pieropan misses with a body shot.
Carvalho slips a jab from Pieropan.
Pieropan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Carvalho shoots in looking for a takedown. Pieropan tries to sprawl out of it but Carvalho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pieropan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Juberto Pieropan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Carvalho.
Pieropan looks to throw the jab but Carvalho is out of range.
Juberto Pieropan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pieropan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carvalho.
Carvalho slips a straight right by Pieropan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carvalho uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pieropan.
Carvalho walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Carvalho shoots in and drives through. Pieropan sprawls well.

Pieropan throws a body punch but Carvalho moves out of range.
Pieropan throws a jab when Carvalho was well out of range.
Carvalho moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pieropan throws the left hand but Carvalho avoids the punch easily.
Carvalho shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pieropan defends it nicely.
Carvalho fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pieropan misses the jab.
Pieropan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Pieropan engages and cracks Carvalho with a massive lead left hook - Carvalho tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Pieropan is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juberto Pieropan!
A less than humble Juberto Pieropan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
