Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between GameBred Mma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spider Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva lands a left and a right that send Mma crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mma looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mma smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mma is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mma.

That was a close round but I would say that GameBred Mma will probably get the nod.

Silva is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mma gets his way!

Silva taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Mma doesn't care though - he's delighted!
