The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kleva takes a swing at Hull's ribcage but misses.
Kleva tries to clinch there but Hull circles away.
Kleva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hull swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hull looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nice body kick from Hull.
Hull throws a front kick that sends Kleva stumbling back into the cage.
Kleva looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hull moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A solid body kick from Hull.
Hull lands a big head kick that sends Kleva tumbling to the mat! Hull takes a step backwards and waves Kleva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Vitaliy Kleva has been cut.
Hull looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hull backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Kleva's temple! It sends Kleva violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hull celebrates and the doctors try to help Kleva!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Mike Hull!
Mike Hull was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
