The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
William keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silva.

It looks like Rickson Silva has been cut.
William throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with William, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes William against the cage but William circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by William.
Rickson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good exchange - Silva coming out on top.

William misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back.

William drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - William is looking for the KO!

Silva leaves his chin hanging out and William seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Silva crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
