Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Frey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry Frey told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frey shoots in and bounces Savage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Frey is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Frey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Savage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Frey tries to bum rush Savage with a series of wild strikes but Savage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Savage gets caught napping as Frey dives in and scores a takedown. Savage manages to retain guard.

and Frey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Savage's guard now.

Henry Frey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Frey moves into the clinch successfully.
Savage can't break the clinch.
Savage fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Savage wants to get back to striking at distance but Frey won't allow it.

Savage jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frey walks away with a smile on his face. Savage gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Frey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Frey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
