Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Matsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannah Holmbom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsu's entrance music is LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Holmbom throws a head kick that half lands.
Matsu throws a jab but it's blocked by Holmbom.
Holmbom ducks under a wild hook from Matsu.
Holmbom buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Matsu.
Holmbom tries to close the distance and clinch but Matsu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Holmbom throws a sloppy head kick and Matsu moves out of range easily.

Matsu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That kick from Holmbom tenderised Matsu's leg. Matsu is trying to keep his angry face on.

Holmbom darts in and clinches Matsu up against the cage.

Holmbom gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Matsu.
Matsu dodges an elbow strike from Holmbom.

Matsu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Matsu throws a solid leg kick but Holmbom takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Matsu.

Matsu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Holmbom wants to sweep here but Matsu controlling him for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Matsu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Holmbom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holmbom takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The strikes coming from Matsu are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Holmbom regains half guard there - taking advantage of Matsu's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
