Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elix Skipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Good might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Boxer. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good closes the distance and pushes Skipper back into the cage.
Skipper prevents a body shot from Good.
Skipper has Good pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Good manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Skipper is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Good is defending well.
Good swings wildly with an uppercut but Skipper uses good head movement to avoid it.

Good feints a jab promting Skipper to slip. Good then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Skipper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Elix Skipper has been cut.

Skipper doesn't manage to clinch there - Good circles away.
Good thows a body shot but no joy.

Good lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skipper circles away quickly and effectively.
Good's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Skipper connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Good scrambles back to his feet.

Good wants the takedown. Skipper is fighting it off but Good persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Skipper's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Skipper on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Good misses with a low kick as Skipper jumps back.
Skipper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Good was well out of range. Poor timing from Skipper.
Good lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Good throws a looping overhand right but Skipper ducks down to avoid it.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Good.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Good - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
