Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bart Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danza has chosen Who's the Boss as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bart Timmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Danza!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Timmons tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Danza throwing strikes from guard but Timmons blocks nicely.
Danza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Timmons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Danza sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Danza is looking to work some ground and pound but Timmons has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danza slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Timmons is not content to let Danza control the position.
Danza tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Danza has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Danza trying to control the action but Timmons is working from the bottom.

Danza is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Danza lands a decent elbow from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timmons is pushing Danza's head away, looking to escape. Danza manages to hold on to the position though.

Timmons seems a little lost for a moment, as Danza dominates the positioning.
Timmons is looking for a sweep.
Danza lands an elbow.
Timmons is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Danza working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Danza is trying to get an arm triangle but Timmons is defending well.
Danza lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Timmons down.
Danza trying to control the position but Timmons is working away.

Timmons is looking to regain half guard here but Danza keeps moving and retains side control.
Danza is chipping away with strikes.
Danza cracks Timmons with a big elbow.
Timmons is rocked!

Danza is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Timmons looks calm but he's in trouble here. Danza gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Timmons is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Danza lets go of the hold and Timmons can pop his arm back in it's socket.
