Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santhiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tj Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santhiago Silva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva has managed to clinch.
Miller is looking for a takedown.
A short body shot lands from Miller as the two fighters clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A combination from Miller does no damage.

Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva striking off his back but it's not causing Miller any problems.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Miller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.

Miller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!

Miller has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.

Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Silva tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch.

Miller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miller manages to end up in side control.
Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Miller connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Miller takes a little break here. Silva wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Miller controls the position from side control.

Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Miller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Silva is trying to defend against the choke here but Miller has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Miller Tightens the hold and Silva taps out furiously! Miller displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
