Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jory Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dennis Washington has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dennis Washington seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Washington throws a series of strikes that have Diaz backpedaling.
A jab from Washington does it's job there.
Washington throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Diaz's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Washington dives in looking to finish as Diaz flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Washington's strikes! Washington is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Diaz's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Diaz was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
