The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chechet gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Lose has eaten all the pies!
Lose has had enough of the clinch but Chechet keeps him there for the moment.
Chechet connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lose's face.
It looks like I Will Lose has been cut.
Lose wants to get back to striking at distance but Chechet won't allow it.
Lose looking to slow down the pace here.
Lose looks gassed!
Chechet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chechet lands a knee to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Chechet.
Chechet jerks Lose's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Lose drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Chechet goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Chechet because Lose was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Alexandr Chechet!
A very excited looking Alexandr Chechet rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
