PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kameonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norris Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kameonov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus- False Pretense. Cole has chosen The Offspring - Why Don't You Get A Job as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grisha Kameonov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Norris Cole!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kameonov dodges the punch combination from Cole.
Kameonov throws a nice looking combination but Cole bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cole shoots in and bounces Kameonov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cole advances to half guard.
Kameonov pushes Cole off but Cole dives into side control.
Kameonov tries to bench press Cole off him but Cole keeps the position.

Cole in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kameonov is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Norris Cole!
A relieved looking Norris Cole thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
